These are the responses I hear most frequently.
It is true that Coronado Springs is becoming more and more suited to the business traveler. After all, it has one of the largest convention centers in Florida! Due to this, it does bring in many adults traveling alone. In the evenings, the two bars near the main building, El Centro, can get loud and boisterous.
Still, of all resorts on Disney property, this IS the business traveler's destination. Disney has recently started taking notice of other hotels successful in marketing to the business traveler. For example, the rooms are more (dare I say) masculine with elements of rich wood and metal accents. Instead of a table and chairs like in most Disney Resort rooms, there is a desk with an ergonomic chair.
The most exciting detail, though, is the brand new addition of Coconino Cove. This is Disney's answer to the business lounge. Now, if you've ever stayed Concierge level in Disney World, this lounge is not that. It is the closest you'll ever get to concierge at moderate prices, though! For the cost of a preferred moderate room, you get accommodations in Cabanas Building 9B, which is the closest building to El Centro and very convenient to the Dig Site. You also get access to Coconino Cove. Open for business from 7am-10am & 5pm-10pm daily. They offer a continental breakfast in the morning and cheese, crudite, wine and beer in the evenings. You also receive gracious hospitality, Disney advice and service while you're there. I was especially impressed by Adam and Nathan in the evenings.
During my visit, I saw business travelers, couples and families all staying in Cabanas 9B. Everyone seemed to feel welcome. This place is a gem for sure!
