Disney Nature

In honor of Earth Day and the release of Disney Nature's newest film, our bloghop, sponsored graciously by Focused on the Magic, is all about nature!

What better place to experience nature then the Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground!  So hop on a bike or a golf cart and come along!

I tent camped ALONE at WDW last May!  Soooo restful!

Next stop: Focused On The Magic to see even more wonderful Disney Nature Photographs!

Thank you, Debra, for hosting this bloghop each and every week!  You bring Disney joy to so many!

    1. It is a different world compared to the rest of WDW. I think your body naturally slows down the moment you step off that boat from Magic Kingdom!

  2. Great photos - I particularly like the little lizard - he looks like he's doing push ups!

    1. Thank you! I stalked that little guy all around the tree. I think he finally gave in to his diva side and posed for me!

  3. LOL. You and MouseChow are photographing the same squirrel, and he looks equally annoyed with both of you. Great pictures, but the top one is definitely my favorite.

    1. Haha! Yes, I saw MouseChow's enthused squirrel as well! To me, he looks like he's saying, "Come on lady! I'm just a squirrel for Pete's sake. Can't you go find a nice snake to take a picture of!?!"

    1. Tent camping alone was a highlight! I got some strange looks and questions though...of course I was surrounded by families. A single adult camping in Disney? Who does that? If I didn't look so harmless I'd have probably been in a loop by myself! Still, the peacefulness of it, the "getting back to nature" part of it-- I'd do it again in a heartbeat!

    1. Thank you for hosting! I certainly recommend to anyone to give it a try! Although, if you are going to be in a tent-- summer is not the best time to try ;-)

    1. Isn't it though? Of course, if you want action you can have that too! The pool, the Hoop-Dee-Do...and if you happen to visit around a holiday...the campsite decorations!!!

Never explored this campground, it looks wonderful. That first shot is amazing! Thank you so much for sharing and putting this together!

    1. Well thank YOU for coming by! I admit, I was a little nervous at first to stay in a tent by myself. I had a nightmare of a tent slasher...very B horror flick. However, when I got there and settled into my sleeping bag, the stars overhead...I can't tell you when I have ever felt more peaceful!

  9. I am dying to stay here and just explore one day. Fort Wilderness is so much more than the Hoop-Dee-Doo! Thanks-

  11. Love them all! Want to be there now.

I think it's funny you caught the squirrel with his eyes shut. It looks like he's pouting because he doesn't want his picture taken. Heehee. Cute.
