Thirsty Thursday: Morning coffee

I am camping this morning.  No, not at Fort Wilderness (that’s in ten days!) but instead in Virginia.  As I am writing away, here with my morning cup of joe, it occurred to me just how much I love camping coffee. 

The early morning hours at Fort Wilderness are so peaceful.  The only sounds you hear are the scurrying of squirrels, the whistle of birds and the occasional boat in the distance.   A gentle breeze, the scent of fresh, warm coffee beans and a comfy camp chair are the perfect waking up combination.  It just isn’t the same in a resort room.  Although, if you have a balcony or other spot to sit outside, you can get pretty close.
