Floating into Theatres!
As I begin to write this last day of the Week of Pooh, I realize that there are so many wonderful quotes that I never got an opportunity to share. Like:
“When late morning rolls around and you're feeling a bit out of sorts, don't worry; you're probably just a little eleven o'clockish.” -- Pooh's Little Instruction Book, inspired by A. A. Milne
I have been known to feel a little 11 o’clockish. Especially at 3 pm, for whatever reason.
"I don't see much sense in that," said Rabbit. "No," said Pooh humbly, "there isn't. But there was going to be when I began it. It's just that something happened to it along the way." -- Winnie the Pooh
That’s the way of ideas, isn’t it? They change right before our very eyes so that the thing we once thought we had control over has taken on a new life.
“Poetry and Hums aren't things which you get, they're things which get you. And all you can do is go where they can find you.” -- Pooh's Little Instruction Book, inspired by A. A. Milne
I don’t really know, but I am hopeful that the new Winnie the Pooh movie will get me like poetry. I am looking forward to a little Pooh wisdom in the form of whimsical quotes.
“Sometimes, if you stand on the bottom rail of a bridge and lean over to watch the river slipping slowly away beneath you, you will suddenly know everything there is to be known.” -- Pooh's Little Instruction Book, inspired by A. A. Milne
Winne the Pooh floats into theatres tonight, Friday July 15, 2011.
