World Awareness Wednesday: Disney Donates to Second Harvest Food Bank

Ever wonder what happens to all the food that is prepared but not served at the Walt Disney World Resort?    In an ongoing effort to respect Mother Earth and her residents, Disney World donates almost 50,000 pounds of food each month to the Second Harvest Food Bank.  Food waste that cannot be donated is composted, so very little ends up in the garbage.
